The Internet branch which now forms part of this website was formed to meet the need felt by ex members of the Regiment to continue the comradeship and mutual support they enjoyed when they served within their respective Battalions as Regular, Conscripted or Territorial soldiers. We are justly proud of the fact that we continue to be an active part of the Regimental family through membership of the Internet branch, a family that collectively represents three of the most famous regiments in the modern British Army.

As you will see the forebears and former regiments of the Royal Green Jackets were the innovators of modern day infantry tactics who concentrated on individual marksmanship, self-discipline and a mutual respect between all ranks. The remainder of the Army has long since adopted these prinicipals and today the Royal Green Jackets continue to lead the way and improve upon the original concepts.
